Nokia 808 PureView: A Great Nokia Design

We can’t wait to get our hands on the Nokia 808 PureView. The 41-megapixel phone packs the smartest photo tech seen on any handset. But there’s one thing the Nokia Belle handset hasn’t been getting credit for: its gorgeous design. Let’s rectify that by having a closer look.

Nokia 808 PureView: What is PureView?

Here’s what we know about the Nokia 808 PureView so far. We know that its 41-megapixel sensor delivers the best shots captured on a mobile phone using clever Nokia-patented PureView technology. And that it shoots video in full high definition.

We also know that it has a 4-inch AMOLED screen, fast 1.3GHz processor, up to 48GB of memory and Dolby sound technology to deliver ‘CD quality sound.’

One thing you may not have realised is how beautiful the 808 PureView actually is. Watching this trailer for the device, we were struck by how much detail has gone into crafting it.

With that in mind we’ve captured some of the best screenshots that give a closer look at the device. See for yourself, in our Nokia 808 PureView photo gallery.

One of our first screenshots gives a great idea of what the Nokia 808 PureView will look like in full swing, with a user’s favourite contacts placed on the homescreen of the Nokia Belle phone.

Here we get a closer look at the details on the buttons on the side. Note the glossy black detail.

And again here on the camera button.

As usual the Nokia 808 PureView will feature Carl Zeiss optics.

We love this close-up, it looks like something from a science fiction movie.

HDMI output lets you share your Nokia 808 PureView footage with your HD TV. Even the ports are well detailed and minimalist in appearance.

This shot shows how curvy the 808 PureView’s body will be, making it easy to slink into pockets.

As does this shot. Despite being a large device, the Nokia 808 PureView will feel great in the hand.

Here’s another look at the 808 PureView’s 41-megapixel sensor in its entirety .

So there you have it, My Nokia Tweet readers. Isn’t the Nokia 808 PureView a thing of beauty?
